Shampoo Your Stress Away

SHAMPOO: To press, knead, and soothe.

Why is it a shampoo at the salon is always better than when you do it at home yourself? That’s the question my clients always ask me every time we shampoo and condition their hair before we continue on with their salon service. It’s a great question. Sometimes people come in stressed out and in a matter of an hour leave completely and totally relaxed. They always say, “I feel so much better.” “I really needed that. Now I can continue on with my day and stress less.”

When you think shampoo and conditioner, you think about cleansing and conditioning the hair. A great shampoo, at the Salon, has a lot more benefits for your scalp and hair. A

great shampoo not only cleanses the hair, it can help relax, and ease tension in the scalp, and greatly reduce the start of a headache. Most of all it helps you to take a time out, regroup, and take a breather for yourself. And don’t forget the best part, the end results after the shampoo, is an amazing blowout and beautiful hair that can last for up to a week.

Did you know?

Shampooing was originally first introduced in Britain in 1814. A surgeon and an entrepreneur, SAKE DEAN MAHOMED (1759 – 1851), first introduced the British to the first the commercial shampoo house. It was advertised to relieve many diseases and to be the cure-all relief when everything else fails. This luxurious facility attracted an upper class clientele of aristocracy. Even Kings George IV and William IV patronized Mahomed’s Baths and benefited from the treatments. This led to Mahomed’s appointment as Shampooing Surgeon to the King, and he was giving a Royal Warrant so that he could officially promote himself as giving treatment to the royal family.

What shampoo is best? Davines Haircare!

Everyone has their own personal theory on which shampoo is best and what works for them. Mothers always tell their children the best shampoo is the one that cleans their hair.

Over the years, I’ve had my fair share of shampoo wardrobes, or arsenals, trying to figure out what was going to do my hair justice. And then one day, I happened to stumble upon an amazing product line called Davines. And, over the past 12 years I’ve truly been addicted and amazed time and time again. Hands-down the best product line of haircare around.

Through years of classes and education and new products lines popping up around every corner nothing compares to Davines.

All Davines Haircare and hair color are made with natural ingredients. They are all sulfate free, paraben free, and their hair color, Mask with Vibrachrom and ANC, contains no PPD’s. A New Color (ANC) is also ammonia free. This leaves your hair and scalp in its best condition possible.

Another great perk, the styling line More Inside and the Essential Hair Care ( shampoos and conditioners) leaves no residue or buildup in the hair. So, even though you have product in your hair it does not feel like it. Which, lets you go longer in between shampooing your hair and getting away with using their dry shampoo, Hair Refresher, to get you through the day.
